Purpose & Mission

Our purpose is to join God as he calls all children to him through Jesus. Our mission is to partner with families and the faith community in leading children to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.

Bible Classes

We provide Bible classes for babies through 5th grade on Sunday mornings
and Wednesday nights.
We utilize creative storytelling, games, crafts, and activities to teach the story of God, how we fit into it, and how to live it out. We teach using a large group
and small group model.

We provide loving care during morning worship service on Sunday for birth through 2 years old.

Events are planned throughout the year to build community among children and families and to celebrate spiritual milestones. Click on the events tab at the top to see our calendar.

Children’s Worship

Children’s Worship is for ages 3 – 2nd grade during Sunday Morning Worship. They meet in Kingwood Station following communion in the auditorium. The children are taught various bible verses, stories, and songs in an interactive setting, including puppets!

Child Check-in Center

We value our children’s security here at Kingwood. We ask that all children birth-5th grade be checked-in upon arrival. They will receive a label sticker that includes their name, parent’s name/phone number, which class they are attending, as well as any medical info such as an allergy. This is to help us keep attendance as well as have a way for teachers to contact parents if an emergency arises.
A separate security sticker will also be printed with the child’s name sticker. These will have a corresponding code that matches each child’s name tag (one security label per family household). The security label must be shown by a parent to pick up their child.
All children are strongly encouraged to check-in for nursery, children’s worship, and Bible class upon arrival, even if the worship service has already started. (You can check in for Bible class at the same time as for the nursery/children’s worship)
If anyone needs to check-in to the nursery during the sermon then the security team will assist them.
We do need volunteers to help at the check-in center. This is open to any member who is high school or older. Please click below to sign up!
